Few Lines on Khushwant Singh :-
Khushwant Singh Ji was born in 1915 in Hadali which is now in Pakistan. His father’s name was Sobha Singh.
Khushwant Singh was also a lawyer and he was also a leader and writer.
He studied from Government College Lahore and he also studied from King’s College London. Khushwant Singh ji did a lot of work as a lawyer, he worked in the Lahore High Court from 1939 to 1947.
After independence he also worked as a journalist in All India Radio. After that he served as Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha from 1980-86.
He received many honors in his life. In 1974 Khushwant Singh was honored with the Padma Bhushan Award and in 2006 he was honored with the Punjab Ratna Award by the Government of Punjab.
Khushwant Singh ji wrote many books and wrote many novels. There are some important books written by him.
